Transient Slips at VLM

Submitted by Joe on Tue, 06/15/2010 - 11:54am

Hello all! Hope you all have had a great week so far!

VLM has had several questions about transients for this upcoming season. In the past we have been fortunate to have many of you stay with us during the football season and have greatly enjoyed the time you spent with us.

Having that said, this year we will only be accepting transients on weekdays, and non-event weekends.

The reason is that our boaters find Downtown Knoxville is an awesome place to keep a boat all year long, with Sundown in the City, Rossini Festival, Fourth of July and then Football season, Basketball season, and so much more. You really get your money's worth keeping a boat here.

Our slips are in such demand that we are holding to Annual leases only. We are so sorry that we can no longer handle any more transients during weekend holidays or special events.

If you ever decide you want to stay here full time, I will be glad to get you in.

Hello everyone! Hope this finds everyone well! Just wanted to let everyone know about a couple of things we have going on in the near future...

First, Ruth's Chris Steakhouse is holding a mixer for everyone in the marina community. It's on Saturday, June 12th from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. There will be a cash bar with Happy Hour prices (and free soft drinks for children), and hors d'oeuvres. Be sure to stop by!! This is a great way to kick of the season.
