June First Friday - Revisited

While the sun set over Volunteer Landing Marina on the First Friday in June, the assembled group included: Andrew P, Charlie C, Dawne F, Debra S, Derek W, Dez E, Greg F, Kevin J, Laura B, Linda C, Mark M, Nancy D, Oscar M, Priscilla P, and Rusty B.
As they relaxed and consumed refreshments, their discussion covered a wide range of topics. Some of the "declassified" topics of their discussions included:
- The origin of the battery. If recent evidence suggests the origin of the battery dates back as early as 5,000 years ago, what were they using the batteries for?
- The culture and architecture in Prague & Venice versus East Tennessee. Where would you rather live? Do they play Big Orange football in Venice?
- Cell phone technology. Does it get any easier to take pictures with your cell phone after you have consumed a bottle of wine and a margarita?
- The Florida Keys. How many islands in the Florida Keys can you name? Is there really a "Flaming Key" and a "Jets Key"?
- The "shark infested" waters of the Tennessee River. If they found one small shark that was dead, does that mean there must be other bigger ones that are alive?
- The upcoming wedding ceremony. Is Derek Dooley really going to be on deck? Is Katrina really planning to invite Smokey?
- July "First Friday". Will you be joining the "armada" planning to cruise to the cove at Sky Ranch for the Fourth of July weekend after our next "First Friday" event on July 2nd?
